Andrew founded the Rubin Group in 2009 after identifying the firm’s first multi-family project. Today he is responsible for the identification and acquisition of new opportunities, fundraising activities for both debt and equity, settlement, development planning, entitlement, and is involved in operational tasks including design and construction management. Previously Andrew was a project manager for a non-profit developer of affordable housing, where he assisted in raising a large private equity fund for the acquisition and redevelopment of Section 8 properties throughout the United States. He has developed or redeveloped close to 2,000 units of multifamily housing in his career. Andrew holds a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he majored in History with a minor in City and Regional Planning.
