Born in Hartford, Connecticut, Shaun spent his childhood in and around the tri-state area and New York City and moved to Columbia, MD in high school and later graduated with a major in Biology from Morgen State University.
In 2002, he got his start in title with the law firm Dufour & Kohlhoss. He then went to work for Prudential Financial through a joint venture company called Certified Closing Network started by the partners at the firm. Shaun handled HUD approval for Prudential government and corporate relocation clients such as DOD, Merck, Coca Cola and many more. In this capacity, he oversaw HUD approval for 17 different states, and worked in conjunction with the equity department to finalize numbers for the sale, transfer and relocation expenses involved with the move.
In 2005, while visiting New York for fashion week he met a designer through a mutual friend and was impressed by his clothing line. The designer was living in Tokyo, Japan and invited Shaun to one of his shows in Tokyo. That show led to an opportunity to invest in the company and take an active role in the companies management. Shaun successfully operated the company in Tokyo from 2005 to 2007 and then later in New York City. That experience taught Shaun a great deal about business and the relationships that business breeds.
When the recession began in 2008, Shaun decided to move back to Washington, DC where he managed a number of properties. In this time period, Shaun joined Monarch Title and 9 years later he is having a blast managing the Eastern Market location on Capitol Hill.
Shaun currently lives in DC and have a son who is 3 years old named Xavier.
